Right now, just read about the meeting of such greats as Williamson & Randle, with the NOLA musicians, esp. an all-time favorite, the GREAT, GREAT Charmaine Nevile. She is such a skilled, and
moving performer. Sending Best Wishes, & Thx. -TH

I am so excited about Emancipate coming to New Orleans! The project sounds well organized, goal-oriented and altruistic.....backed with the tough fingernails of determined women. I will be following your postings closely. I posted a blurb about y'all's trip here on my blog tonight and look forward to spreading more of the good news of your work once you're here.
Thanks for everything you're doing for NoLA!

I live in New York but am doing work in New Orleans to reform certain areas of their criminal justice system (I am an attorney doing policy development). I will be doing down the week after you are there so I'll miss you but I hope that you will let me know about your nyc concert on April 27. The people in New Orleans inspire me deeply. I'm glad to see that so many are continuing to go there, connect with people there, and see what they can contribute. Have a great trip.

I saw the show last night with Alix Olson, Pamela Means and Taina Asili. What a phenomenal collaboration of brilliant, talented, fierce women. Thank you for sharing your passion with us.
